Dr. Hollinger’s organ concerts delight audiences with an informative and innovative approach to organ playing. His organ arrangements of hymn tunes and original compositions are uniquely creative. Other repertoire in his recitals is widely diverse and includes music from the Baroque to the 20th century. Daryl gives educational monologues about the instrument and the pieces he is playing.

Organ and Hors d’oeuvres. Daryl gives informal and educational recitals to guests on his home organ, Johannes Studio 370. His wife, Bonnie Lee, presents a delicious array of food between sets of organ music.

First Congregational Church - Murphys, CA. A dedicatory recital featuring the newly installed Rodgers Imagine 235. Daryl showed off the stunning sounds of the 217 voices spread over the American, English, French and German voice palettes as well as some orchestral voices.

Organ Sampler of 3 churches in Sonora, CA. Guests travelled to hear Dr. Hollinger play and explain the mechanics and sounds of three contrasting organs: The Red Church, St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church and Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

All Saints Episcopal Evensong Concert - Sacramento, CA. Daryl presented his own hymn arrangements and original compositions for organ and combined choirs.

Mount Gretna Organ Concert Series. Many original compositions were played including the commissioned piece, Mount Gretna Suite with narration.
